Synopsis:
Michael and Daphna Feldmann are plunged into sudden, suffocating grief when military officials arrive at their upscale Tel Aviv apartment to announce that their son, Jonathan, has died in the line of duty. While Michael unravels in a spiral of visceral fury and medical sedation, a shocking bureaucratic error is uncovered: Jonathan is alive, and the officials notified the wrong family. As Michael frantically demands his son's immediate return, the narrative abruptly shifts to a surreal, isolated desert checkpoint where Jonathan and three fellow soldiers spend their days rolling a beer can across the floor and weighing a passing camel, entirely unaware of the tragic, inescapable loop of fate closing in around them.
